Located on the site of the former Benedictine Abbey of Cluny, the Hotel de Bourgogne was built in 1917. In the center of the village opposite the National Horse Stud Farm, walking distance from the Abbey circuit, the Hôtel de Bourgogne is perfectly located.

Alphonse de Lamartine, the famous French poet and politician (1790-1869) loved to come to the Hotel to rest a while. The room he liked to have now bears his named.

The hotel has 13 rooms. Some overlook the little inside garden, the others the Dome of the Abbey church.
Three apartments (for a maximum of 4 people) with a bedroom and a small living room are also available.
A bedroom on the ground floor overlooks the archeological diggings and is reached by the garden. This air-conditioned room has been specially designed for people with reduced mobility.

Breakfast with a copious buffet of cheese, ham and homemade dishes are served in a room overlooking the diggings and in summer, when the weather is fine in the garden.

To relax, there is a small sitting room that is bright and airy with old furniture as well as the green patio with its flowers that is a haven of peace and quiet.

A private garage that is locked over night is available for you to leave your car in complete security.

There is a small extra charge for your dog or pet.
